AAR members do not require referrals for Dr. Kasirye (Paediatrician), Dr. Nsibambi and Dr. Kambugu (Dermatology), Dental and Optical services and may visit the specialists directly without first visiting an AAR clinic.
AAR also holds clinic days for leading specialists within our facilities on a daily basis to facilitate accessibility allowing members to have direct access to gynacologists, counselors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dermatologists, and ENT surgeons
As an alternative AAR is also able to refer members to any specialist at any facility in Uganda for any discipline including but not limited to oncologists, neurologists, physicians, ophthalmologists, cardiologists and many others. Those on international products can be referred outside of Uganda.
AAR Uganda also has contracted medical facilities that will provide healthcare services to AAR members in the all districts in Uganda including but not limited to: Adjumani; Apac; Arua; Bundibugyo; Busia; Fort Portal; Gulu; Hoima; banda; Iganga; Ishaka; Jinja; Kabale; Kabwohe; Kampala; Kamuli; Kapchorwa; Kasese; Kayunga; Kibale; Kiboga; Kihili; Kisoro; Kitgum; Koboko; Kotido; Kumi; Kyotera; Layntonde; Lira; Lugazi; Luwero; Masaka; Masindi; Mbale; Mbarara; Mityana; Moroto; Mpigi; Mubende; Mukono; Moyo; Ntungamo; Pakwach; Pallisa; Rukingiri; Soroti; Tororo,Wobulenzi and many more.
Member validity is confirmed using a high tech sms system that is availed to all contracted providers. Working on the same technology as used to check the value of mobile airtime balance this easy to use methodology enables our members to not rely on electricity or internet in order to obtain services.
Our network footprint spreads across the East African region with both outpatient and inpatient services available to members in Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Southern Sudan and Rwanda depending on the product selected.
