Dial *253# Now1. Dial *253# (Safaricom, Airtel,Telkom on the number registered on MTIBA).
2. Enter M-TIBA Pin (Press 1 if you have forgotten your pin).
3. Press 1 - To intiate a treatment.
4. Select Recent Clinic or Enter the Till Number of the facility.
5. Select Patient to be treated.
6. Select payment method.
7. Select your AAR or Corporate scheme and then either Outpatient/ Dental/ Optical as payment method.
8. Press 1 to authorize.
You will receive an in-app message and SMS with the transaction number.

M-TIBA is a platform that allows you to access your medical scheme. M-TIBA is accessed by dialing *253# from your mobile phone.
Your fingerprint data will be captured during your first visit to the provider. Any subsequent visit will only be for verification purpose.
You will receive an in-app message and a SMS with a transaction number.
Yes, you will be required to verify your treatment by scanning your fingerprint at the provider of choice. The verification process is required before a treatment can begin.

The limit is set to per category of the cover. If this amount has been exhausted, you can pay the difference in cash.
You will receive an SMS notification when you have opened your AAR benefit before getting treated, and another SMS when the healthcare facility has billed your specific benefit. The SMS sent after your benefit has been billed will indicate the cost of the services including medication.
