Covid-19 Testing
All coverage levels from KES 500,000 to KES 10,000,000 provide testing for Covid-19. This ensures members can access necessary testing without additional financial strain.
Outpatient Medical Appliances/Equipment
Following hospitalization or surgery, members can access outpatient medical appliances and equipment, including non-motor wheelchairs and oxygen, on a doctor’s recommendation. This benefit applies across all coverage levels, helping ease recovery at home.
Hearing Aids
Members can claim hearing aids once every three years, up to a maximum of KES 30,000. There is a waiting period of 10 months before this benefit can be accessed.
Pre-existing, Chronic, and Congenital Conditions
Conditions such as gynaecological issues, hernias, HIV/AIDS, and more are covered, subject to a one-year waiting period. Members can be assured of support for ongoing medical needs that existed at the time of joining.
Newly Diagnosed Cancer
Coverage for newly diagnosed cancer is included after a one-year waiting period. This ensures members have financial backing during a difficult time.
Psychiatric Treatment
Members can access psychiatric care after a 10-month waiting period, with full coverage available across all benefit levels.
Preventative Vaccinations
Vaccinations for conditions like pneumonia and flu are covered for all members, ensuring they stay protected from common infections.
Supplements
Supplements are covered when deemed medically necessary and pre-authorized, giving members the extra support they may need for their health.
Optical Coverage
Frames can be replaced once every two years, up to a sublimit of KES 8,000. Coverage also extends to other necessary optical treatments.
Dental Coverage
Dental care includes anesthetist’s fees, operating theatre costs, and treatments like fillings, extractions, and root canals. Coverage is subject to available limits, ensuring members have access to essential dental care.

- Lifetime renewability for members who join between the ages of 65 and 85. Dependents under 17 years can also be added.

Cosmetic or beauty treatment and / or surgery.
Massage (except where certified as a necessary part of treatment following an accident or illness).
Any injury, disease or illness specified as exclusion.
Claims arising from non-accredited health facilities and / or un-authorized referrals.
Treatment by acupuncturists and herbalists, stays and/or maintenance or treatment received
in nature cure clinics or similar establishments, private beds registered within a nursing home,
convalescent or rest homes or ‘cures’ attached to such establishments.
Any claim for expenses relating to any contingency arising whilst the member is outside the
territorial limits of cover, but the limitation shall not apply to any member temporarily abroad
and requiring emergency treatment for an illness or injury that occurs during the period of travel provided that such period does not exceed six weeks in any one visit. Travel and accommodation costs shall not be covered.All other Vaccines except as per those indicated in the vaccine cover scope
Pandemics & epidemics (Other than Covid19), natural disasters and unknown illnesses covering a wide geographical area.
